KUPTAWANICH HOUSE

Urban Sanctuary

This residence is designed with the concept of blending modern architecture with nature to create a peaceful and private living space that perfectly suits urban lifestyles.

Main Concept: Urban Sanctuary
The main concept, “Urban Sanctuary,” focuses on using simple yet refined modern design to provide both privacy and natural openness. The design emphasizes the harmony between serenity and light, offering a tranquil retreat amid the city’s fast-paced environment.

Key Design Features
Balance Between Privacy and Natural Light: The house features wooden louvers as a major façade element. These louvers act as a screen that filters sunlight and shields the interior from outside views while still allowing natural light and ventilation to flow into the living spaces.

Connection with Nature: A rooftop garden and vertical greenery on the second floor bring nature closer to the residents, enhancing the sense of calmness while also improving air quality and reducing heat throughout the building.

Simple Yet Dynamic Form: The building’s clean rectangular geometry is enhanced by vertical fins and projecting wall planes, adding depth and visual interest without compromising the minimalist aesthetic or sense of openness.

Modern and Enduring Design: A neutral color palette of white and gray is combined with natural wood tones to create a warm yet contemporary appearance. This combination ensures the house feels both timeless and harmoniously integrated with its surroundings.
