RENOVATION PROJECT – 5-STOREY HOUSE

Vertical Green Sanctuary

This residence was designed with the concept of creating an “urban oasis” — a tranquil and private sanctuary amidst the dense urban environment — by maximizing the use of vertical space to its fullest potential.

Main Concept: Vertical Green Sanctuary
The main concept, Vertical Green Sanctuary, emphasizes the harmony between modern architecture and nature. The building serves as a fortress of serenity, allowing light and fresh air to flow freely within, while shielding its inhabitants from the chaos of the outside world.

Key Design Elements
Vertical Box Architecture: The structure is designed in the form of stacked boxes, featuring clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. The vertical composition enhances the building’s presence while efficiently utilizing limited urban space.

Vertical Green Spaces: Large trees are planted on the balconies of each floor, creating a lively and nature-infused atmosphere. These green spaces help reduce heat, improve air quality, and strengthen the connection between architecture and nature.

Privacy and Openness: The side walls are designed to be tall and solid, ensuring privacy from neighboring properties. In contrast, the front façade features expansive glass panels that allow natural light to flood the interior and provide unobstructed views.

Indoor-Outdoor Connection: Large glass doors and windows blur the boundary between interior and exterior spaces, creating a sense of openness and fluidity that extends toward the balconies.

Modernity and Stability: The use of crisp white tones contrasted with concrete or marble surfaces gives the residence a modern yet grounded appearance — perfectly suited for sustainable urban living.
