Project 2

TOWNHOME

SOUNDPROOF URBAN SANCTUARY

This three-storey residential project is designed with the concept of creating a living space that serves as a “private oasis” amidst the bustling city and the constant noise of nearby air traffic.

Main Concept: Soundproof Urban Sanctuary
The core idea—“Soundproof Urban Sanctuary”—focuses on providing a living environment that ensures peace, privacy, and comfort. The design emphasizes noise reduction from external surroundings while integrating greenery to enhance a sense of serenity and environmental harmony.

Key Features
Acoustic design for noise reduction: Despite its proximity to the airport, the house is built with reinforced walls and high-performance soundproof glass, effectively minimizing aircraft noise. The result is a calm and restful indoor environment ideal for relaxation.

Modern and robust architecture: The structure features clean, contemporary lines and a balanced palette of white, grey, and dark-toned materials, creating a sleek yet dynamic visual composition that expresses both strength and sophistication.

Vertical greenery: Plants are thoughtfully integrated along balconies and the rooftop, providing natural shading, reducing heat, and improving air quality. This approach softens the urban presence of the building and reinforces its connection with nature.

Vertical privacy and spatial zoning: The three-storey layout organizes spaces vertically for clear functional separation. The top floor is envisioned as a quiet retreat—an elevated sanctuary offering complete privacy within an urban setting.
