LEYERINGHOUSE
Harmony with Nature
This vacation residence is designed with the concept of harmoniously blending modern architecture with nature, creating a peaceful and private retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Main Concept: Harmony with Nature
The main concept, “Harmony with Nature,” is expressed through the seamless integration of natural elements and modern design. The architecture emphasizes clean, horizontal lines that blend effortlessly with the surrounding landscape, creating a sense of unity between the built environment and nature.
Key Design Features
Green Spaces on the Building: Rooftop and balcony greenery softens the architectural form, transforming the house into an integral part of its natural ecosystem while enhancing the building’s thermal comfort.
Indoor–Outdoor Connection: Large glass windows and sliding doors allow abundant natural light to enter and provide panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, fostering a strong visual and spatial connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Simplicity and Modernity: The residence adopts a neutral palette of white, gray, and natural wood tones to convey minimalist elegance while maintaining a timeless, contemporary character.
Use of Wooden Louvers: Wooden louvers are incorporated as both aesthetic and functional elements, adding architectural detail while filtering sunlight and reducing heat gain within the interior spaces.
Versatile Living Spaces: Designed for true relaxation, the house includes open areas for outdoor activities as well as private corners for quiet rest. This balance between communal and personal spaces encourages both comfort and quality family time.
